Snow

It was only about an inch but Poppie and Nicholas were all bundled up and playing in the snow.
He was so cute.....he could barely move and just sort of waddled around.
Hanging with Poppie!
Nicholas was teaching Poppie a thing or two about the piano.
My Great-Grandfather (Poppie's dad) made this chair for Nicholas. We were able to see him and Nicholas LOVED the chair, GG John had a huge smile on his face when Nicholas sat down and grinned up at him.

Blue Springs

We were so busy with Rosemary and Tim. The day after Christmas we went to Sea World and had a great time. It was so cold that we forgot to take pictures of the fun, but we saw an amazing pet show and Nicholas was in heaven. Dogs, cats, birds and mice. And best of all it was indoors!
Here are pictures from our trip to Blue Springs State Park. Every year the manatees come and spend the night near the springs because it is so much warmer than the ocean and the St. John's river. It is a truely amazing sight.
The Valentine boys......and Grandma too!
I LOVE this picture.
The BOYS just hanging out!

Christmas Day

We got everything put together and all the presents out.......
Santa even came.....
Notice our tree with only the top half decorated.....Nicholas 'undecorated' it for me a little every day. We took video of Nicholas opening presents. He was so distracted by the 'toys' that he wasn't too interested in the presents.
Voula and John invited us over for Christmas Day dinner. We had a wonderful time. Rosemary and Tim were scheduled to arrive around 5pm, but we had 'tornado activity' so their flight was rerouted to Orlando. Voula and her family were kind enough to have Nicholas and I stay while Matt drove to pick them up. We couldn't have more wonderful friends!
Nicholas showing Dina how to use her new vacuum. What a man!

Christmas Eve

Well here goes a recap of the last 40 (give or take) days. On Christmas Eve we went to the Children's Mass and came home and took dome 'family' pictures. We all look pretty good for having the camera on timer!

So so long

It has been WAY too long since I have written or posted pics. I will tomorrow. Nicholas is doing great and as of his 18th mos apt he weighs 25 pounds and was 34 in give or take a few because he was all over the place. We have started two new 'activities' Little Gym and Kindermusik. I will write more about the holidays and our trip to MI for two weeks in January. Here is a sweet picture to look at........
