Hot Stuff

Here I am WORLD! I went to the Dr today and am quite the big man. I weigh 15 lbs and 15 and 1/2 oz. I am not sure why the nurse didn't just round to 16 lbs.....what is an half an oz when you weigh this much? I am 27 and 1/8 inches long.....but what do you expect when you look at my parents? This picture really shows my new haircut.....I love to spike it up....just wait until I get to do it myself. Oh no here comes Mommy, I better go before she realizes I can type and she make me do this blog myself.

First Haircut

My parents arrived yesterday morning and we were so happy to see them. After a busy afternoon of playing with Grammy and Poppie and going for a walk with Boo Boo it was time to trim those locks. Daddy had the video camera, Poppie had the digital camera, Grammy had the scissors, and Mommy was trying to direct everyone. Matt suggested that we send the video to America's Most Dysfunctional Families, thanks Matt! Nicholas wasn't too happy to have our 'cape' on, but he did well with the haircut. He now looks trendy and like a little boy. I saved the hair in the bag...of course realizing that he is growing MUCH too fast.

Thank Heaven for Friends

This precious girl is Konstantina. Nicholas and I were invited to visit with Voula (her mommy) this afternoon. Dina is about 6 weeks younger than Nicholas and is giving Mr. Man a run for his money in the size department. We wanted to get a picture of them 'hanging out' together. However, Dina was a little out of sorts. I thought this was such a sweet picture. The more Voula and I talk the more we realize we have a lot in common. She has 'retired' from teaching and is a first time mommy....That's enough to keep us talking for hours!

Family picture

This picture is from Nicholas' baptism. I think Matt and I look pretty darn good, for two people that don't get much sleep. We really missed our families being with us to share this special day, but we know we were in their hearts.

4 months old

Today is Nicholas' 4 month birthday. I can't believe how quickly time has passed or how much he has changed. The last two pictures are in the wrong order, I swear I will figure this out.(without Matt's computer expertise) Isn't he the sweetest thing?

The "IN" Thing To Do

This blog thing seems to be the 'in' thing to do. I don't want Nicholas to grow up and wonder why his mommy couldn't get it together and BLOG his early years. Yesterday Matt and I took Nicholas to St. Augustine for the afternoon. We packed a lunch and walked around the shops. Nicholas was so good, he even took a nap. I felt like a normal person again. We are constantly amazed by this little man. He is so precious, every time I look at him I am speechless.
